Episode 25: Are You Part of the Rebellion?

Did you even know there was a rebellion taking place?

I think it goes without saying, marketing plays an important role in connecting people in and out of your church with the Gospel. Translating business marketing strategies into our church context and helping churches implement them is the mission of ChurchCMO.

The hard part is that the marketing landscape is changing and evolving rapidly, and I would argue for the better. But the changes are forcing businesses, non-profits, and yes, churches to rethink how they approach their audience.

After reading this book, we were struck by the fact that the changes Mark outlines actually should benefit the local church - if we just understood how to implement a human-centered marketing approach. I am convinced the rebellion he describes is a blueprint that can invigorate the church’s ability to connect with people in our community that need Jesus.

The businesses of the past were built on advertising impressions. Today, they are built on human impressions that help customers believe, belong, and find meaning.
