Episode 35: Making Disciples in Transition

In today's episode we talk to retired UMC Pastor Charla Shebakoff about life/career transitions. We extrapolate her experience to the challenges our congregants face in traversing their own transitions. We discuss the questions: what are the challenges you face? Where do I belong? Has my purpose that gives meaning to life changed or am I supposed to live it out differently?

Transitions are a reality whether you are a pastor or pew sitter. They are not always difficult and some give us the opportunity to take a fresh look at our God-given purpose in life and how we are living out our purpose. Check out our conversation...

A strong sense of belonging deepens commitment to the school resulting in less turnover and promotes a better work environment resulting in a more conducive learning environment for the students.
— Charla Sherbakoff, Retired UMC Pastor
